The HLBS laboratory is highly committed to Ph.D. training and education. Being a doctoral student with us is the best starting platform for a successful career in science, both in academic and industrial environments. Internationality, dedicated and comprehensive mentoring and early independence in research characterize our Ph.D. programs. More than 15 students earned Ph.D. certificate under the supervision of Prof. Andras Guttman and currently we have six candidates at various stages of the graduation. Research topics include many fields of glycomics including development of sample preparation, separation methods, bioinformatics and instrumentation development. We are seeking for candidates preferably having M.Sc. in chemical engineering, bioengineering, biology, molecular biology but we also consider other backgrounds with proved relevant enthusiasm.
